What is Adopt A Family?

This Christmas Season we are loving our community with God’s heart by blessing families in need with Christmas meals and gifts for their children! We all have a part to play so scroll down to check out how you can get involved!

1. Join a Christmas Crew

WHAT IS A CHRISTMAS CREW?:
A Christmas Crew is a group of 4-6 people who will be assigned a family to adopt for Christmas! You will work together to prepare your Christmas basket with the donated toys and meal ingredients for your family. Once you prepare your basket, you will go out together to deliver it and pray over your family together!
HOW DO I JOIN?:
Sign up for a Christmas Crew by filling out this form. You will be contacted by your Christmas Crew leader at a later date to coordinate a time to prep and deliver your family’s Christmas basket!

2. Donate

What?:
We ask that you donate new (please no used) toys for boys and girls of all ages as well as any non-perishable food items that could be helpful in cooking a Christmas dinner!
Where?: Drop-off bins are located outside Philadelphia Tabernacle (1801 Spring Garden St.) on 18th Street by the church patio, as well as inside the church in the Connection Space!

When?: The outside drop-off bin will be accessible 24/7, while the inside drop-off bin will be open Mondays from 8:30am-5:30pm, Tuesdays from 1:00pm-9:00pm, and Sundays from 7:00am-12:30pm. *To coordinate a special drop-off time, please contact info@philadelphiatabernacle.org
